This explains the cookies PlotSignal uses, under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
What we use, and why
Strictly necessary cookies make sign-in work and keep your account secure. The law allows these without consent, and the site cannot work without them.
Analytics cookies are optional. With your permission we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people, so we can improve them. Nothing is set until you choose “Accept”, and choosing “Reject” is just as easy. Google’s advertising features are switched off, and we never send Google what you search for or watch.
We do not use advertising, social media or tracking cookies from anyone else.

Your choice itself is stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and is never sent to us.
Changing your mind
You can accept or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing stops analytics straight away.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop sign-in from working.
